We recommend chain drives for everyone who doesn\u2019t need to transport their bikes that often (and hence doesn\u2019t need to worry so much about getting things dirty).<\/br>And what\u2019s special about a Bernds rear subframe is that it allows you to remove the chain in one piece, simplifying necessary maintenance.<\/br><\/br>Chain drives require a chain tensioner for all derailleur and hub gear systems.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

It\u2019s because the interaction of a saddle\u2019s shock absorption with the bike\u2019s own can produce vibrations that put unpredictable levels of strain on the rider and the materials.
